RADON
    Radon is a naturally occurring, odorless and colorless gas and natural byproduct of decaying Uranium, often found beneath building structures.  When inhaled over a period of time radon can induce lung cancer.  In fact, experts have determined radon to be the second leading cause of lung cancer just behind smoking. The EPA rates metro Atlanta as a Level 1, which has the potential for some of the highest Radon levels in the US.  Elevated levels of radon in your home can be brought to acceptable amounts, but only after measuring existing levels to determine if a mitigation program is necessary.  For more information visit:

EIFS (Exterior Insulation Finish System)  Also known as synthetic stucco, EIFS has gained tremendous popularity as an exterior finish due largely to its aesthetically appealing appearance.  However, the correct installation of this product is critical.  Incorrect installation may not manifest itself immediately, but may result in thousands of dollars of damage to the home.  The following short video provides an excellent overview of this product:
